A clear working process

Send the demo, chord chart or key information, references, tempo, and notes. Sxphy confirms the musician’s role, rate, schedule, revision expectations, and whether the work will happen in the studio or through remote file delivery.

If the sessionist is expected to create a part rather than perform an existing arrangement, that creative work should be acknowledged in the scope. Songwriting, arrangement, performance, and ownership are different contributions and should not be left ambiguous.

From session performance to finished track

Sessionist files can move into Sxphy’s music production, recording, and mixing workflow. Consolidated files, takes, comping, and editing are handled according to the agreed package.

Session musician costs are quoted separately because instrument, preparation, difficulty, time, and creative responsibility vary. No specific player is promised until availability is confirmed.
